Preparation
Our cods roe is ready to eat, however the most popular way of eating it is to pan fry.
Melt a knob of butter in a pan over a medium heat and add slices of cods roe to the pan (roughly 1cm thick slices). Pan fry until golden brown, roughly 3-4 minutes. Serve with dark rye bread

Large moist cod roe with subtle smoking. Not too salty.
Would make lovely taramasalata but is lovely as part of a mixed fish Hors D'oeuvre.
