Smokehouse Family Box

I have absolutely no issues with the products or Lancaster Smokehouse. The delivery arrived on my chosen day and was well packaged. My issue is with the courier. We were given a time slot and waited at home for the delivery. The time slot was 2-4pm. Having heard nothing by 3.30 I decided to take our dog for a walk (leaving my wife at home to await the delivery). On opening the front door I found our delivery on the doorstep! The courier hadn’t knocked or rung our doorbell so I checked the Ring video and found the delivery was made at 2.30 ie an hour before I found it on the doorstep. There are clear instructions on the box for the courier to call his company for further instructions if the recipient is not available to take delivery, but how would they know if they don’t bother to ring and hand the delivery over personally? To add insult to injury, there was a slug inside the box, no doubt attracted by the smell of the fish etc on the hour the box was sitting on the doorstep. Good job it wasn’t raining as well. Really not impressed with the courier service.

Excellent service and great value for money, ordered the family box as a gift and can’t wait to try it..
